Trust in You: our inspiration at DMEXCO 2019
We recently published an experience for DMEXCO, an annual trade fair for digital marketing and advertising in Cologne. This year, the event’s slogan was “Trust in You”; reflecting the responsibility and trust put into companies that digitize the data of individuals and organizations. We supported DMEXCO by providing a Virtual Reality experience living up to the theme “Trust in you”:
Our “Test Your Limits” experience begins in a meditative environment with a menu displaying three different worlds to jump into: “Jump,” “Ride,” and “Snow.” These consist of skydiving, test driving in an exhilaratingly fast sports car, and breaking through fresh alpine powder on a snowboard; all captured in 360° footage. In each case, there is a level of trust that the user must have in themselves and in the people and environment around them.
Create a VR experience
The “Test Your Limits” experience was created entirely within the VRdirect Studio (formerly Builder) by compositing 360° footage, images, and sound files. With the Studio’s completely visual interface and built-in interactions, no coding is necessary. Each VR scene can be filled with interactive elements and content, all rearranged with drag-and-drop ease. This user-friendly, hands-on approach to creating a VR experience opens the door for anyone to express their ideas in a completely new way. Anyone can use this software to publish outstanding virtual reality experiences that are ready for that next big trade fair or convention.
