Munich, August 10th 2021 – The Munich-based software company VRdirect has released a new version of their authoring tool “VRdirect Studio”. The update contains numerous new features which allow companies and large enterprises to more effectively integrate Virtual Reality in their business processes.
Interaction and time event option grouping (scene/object/url):
Adding play, pause and stop buttons:
In the new VRdirect Studio, there is now an option to add play, pause, and stop buttons in the interaction/time events section if the scene is a video or an object is a video. This provides the ability to pause a video and still move around a scene.
Deep links into scenes and app projects
The new VRdirect Studio allows you to set deep links. Basically, you change the destination URL and with the deep link you jump directly into a scene. Just add the scene name to the normal deep link (URL) (if I call my scene “Office 3” in the Studio, it must be added at the end). This allows users to immerse themselves directly in the desired scene.
